Ana Karen graduated with a BSc degree in Biomedical Engineering from Universidad de Monterrey, Mexico, in 2014. She obtained her MSc degree in Biomaterials from Queen Mary University in 2017. Her masters research project was “Design and characterization of laponite – peptide amphiphile nanocomposite hydrogels for biomedical applications”.
She is currently a PhD candidate under the supervision of Prof. Alvaro Mata group at Queen Mary University.
